I loved it at first

I have a 1950's ranch. I decorate for Christmas in a retro style. When I saw this tree I had to have it. Its so cute. It arrived quickly and was put together in two steps. Top and bottom snap together. I loved it. Unfortunately, I have had it up for only THREE weeks, and today I walk out to see the entire bottom half is dark.
Really? Three weeks and now my lights dont work? This is why I HATE pre lit trees. Why does ONE bulb cause the whole strand to go out? Certainly technology has improved? So now, just four days before Christmas I get to spent an hour of my time going through the tree to find out why my tree is no longer lit.
Appearance wise this tree is great. Quality wise? I didnt even get through one season without a burned out bulb and a darkened tree. Disappointing.
**Updated 12/21/2012...Shortly after contacting the seller, I was notified by their customer service manager that they would look into the issue. Within 48 hours she had credited me back my money. While I am still frustrated that the product broke within three weeks of use, I will give high props to the seller for making it right without me even asking. I still love the look of the tree so I will cut out the pre lit lights and add in my own.

Whimsical Christmas Tree

Purchased this Whimsical tree because I love silver, love whimsey and the price was hard to beat. May purchase a taller one next year as it is easy to set up. Very lightweight and so Charlie Brown looking!!!
